The Sterling Park District realizes the importance that recreation holds in today's busy society.  Our parks, programs and facilities are designed to give you the best in family oriented entertainment.  We invite you to take time to enjoy our programs, facilities and over 500 acres of beautiful parks.

This program is designed to introduce your child to the basic fundamentals of football.  Practices will be held once during the week and games will be on Saturdays.  All games will be held at Westwood Sports & Fitness Center on the fields next to Building #3.  There will be a coaches meeting on Thursday, September 9, at 7:00PM at Westwood, Building #1.  September 11 will be "Team Orientation Day."  Players will meet their coaches and parents will receive season information that day.  Please register your child by Friday, August 27, to guarantee your child's spot in the program.  We hope to see you there!

The Elite High School Fall Basketball League is for top high school players in Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin.  This league will help prepare athletes for upcoming school seasons by allowing them to play with some of the best talent around.  College coaches will be encouraged to attend.  The league will take the top boys and girls from each high school.  Juniors and seniors are preferred; however, if a coach feels that an underclassman is qualified, they are welcome.  Only 2 players from each high school team will be allowed on the same Elite team so coaches are strongly encouraged to send their top players.  Registration deadline is August 23.
